2007 DXpedition to Agalega Islands 3B6 Newsletter No. 8 DXpedition's callsign changed to 3B6SP !!!
We would like to announce that ICTA Mauritius informed us that the callsign
of the Agalega expedition was changed. Due to the fact, that 3B6DX had
already been assigned to another station, ICTA changed our expedition's
callsign to 3B6SP. Every other piece of information remains unchanged. The
group is flying to Agalega Monday, May 28. Two members of the expedition are
already on Mauritius in order to receive 634 kg of cargo and to assign
purchase of the equipment that is still needed. We expect that the total
weight of equipment and food supplies will exceed 2 tones. On our web page
http://3b6.godx.eu you can find the newest list of the equipment, including
antennas that DXpedition is taking to Agalega. You can also find propagation
predictions prepared by Tad K7RA for our DXpedition.

Two GoDX Team members - Robert SP5XVY and Bogdan SP3RBR have just landed on Mauritius. They will be waiting for our cargo (18 pieces of 634kg weight) organizing our trip locally. |

2007 DXpedition to Agalega Islands 3B6 Newsletter No. 7 I would like to happily inform you that we have got our new callsign: 3B6SP (3B6DX may not be issued). We already know our DXpedition schedule. Here you have the details: 
¤ main group will start the trip at Okecie airport in Warsaw on Monday, May 28 morning 8:30
¤ we will be landing in Mauritius on Tuesday, May 29 morning 6:10
¤ Tuesday till Friday - we will be busy in Mauritius
¤ on Saturday early morning we will start our trip to Agalega Islands by boat
¤ we are expecting to see Agalega's land on Tuesday, June 5
¤ just after arriving to Agalega we will start building up our aerials
¤ we will be QRV from 3B6 June 6 morning at the latest
¤ we will have to start our trip back to Mauritius on Monday, June 18
¤ we have a flight on Sunday evening back to Poland
¤ the DXpedition will be finished at Okecie airport in Warsaw on Monday June 25 at 14:15 |
